Firewise Fences connects California property owners with Zone 0 compliant fencing; from assessment and material specification through installation, working with a licensed local contractor who holds the contract and performs the work.
The founder
Christopher Robin Gallego was a co-founder of Burkhardt Custom, a fence contractor based in Santa Monica, in 2020, and spent the past six years learning the fence business from the ground up. After witnessing the fires in 2025, then learning about fire-resistant fence systems, he decided to start his own company dedicated to meeting the challenge of protecting communities and installing fence systems at scale at the lowest price possible.
